ROC approved in 3 months!

Oh’s been quite a while since I’ve posted and I do have a lot to tell. I’ve been so busy lately being a mom that unfortunately blogging was placed on the backburner. I do have some time this week to hopefully get caught up, so I will apologize in advance if you see a sudden influx of posts this month.

Anyway, lets move on to what this post is about: On June 26, I got a notification that my greencard was approved and card production was ordered! Woohoo! I’m actually in the Philippines right now (more about that in a different post) so I wasn’t there to see its grand delivery. According to my sister in law and to the tracking number (I think it’s very neat that they provide one!), it was delivered July 1st. Woohoo! Overall, this whole process only took about 3 months for me without an RFE or interview. That was pure luck because I did not even request for an expedite or anything! Needless to say I am ecstatic! 🙂

That only means that I must have sent adequate documentation.. What a relief!

So there’s my first update for now. Stay tuned for posts on my graduation, my first job, my vacation, Johnny and Tim and more uscis posts- change of address and i551 stamp! I promise to discuss all that in detail in the coming week 🙂

Hope everyone had a great 4th of July, including all my fellow military families who’s husbands are away serving in this joyous time. God bless you all!
